The goal is to have participants identify an issue that addresses the United Nations Sustainability Goal #3: Goal Good-Health and Well-being. Individuals and teams of up to 4 members will design and create a product/solution that helps address the issue of their choice, and compete for prizes.

It's important to note that although anyone 18 and under in the U.S. can participate, everyone's submission will be judged with your circumstances and experience level. A project from someone who has never coded before has the potential to be more impressive than a project from a very experienced programmer--just let us know of your situation and what obstacles you had to overcome!

Remember to join our discord server once you register! All communication with participants will occur there.

Timeline:

Friday, April 9th - Start programming projects (make sure you're on our Discord server! Under the Resources tab on Devpost)

Sunday, April 11th 11:59 PM CST - All submissions due (no late submissions)

Sunday, April 18th 8:00 PM CST - Winners are announced

Eligibility

Participants must be 13-18 years old and residing in the United States. Teams can be 1-4 members.

Requirements

Your project must address the UN SDG: Good-Health and Well-Being in some way.

All submissions must include a video demonstration of the project (1-minute max), a Github repository link to your project, and a write-up (200-500 words). Note that a video demonstration is not a presentation. All explanations and justifications of the project must be submitted in writing (.pdf format when submitting on Devpost).

NOTE: Although anyone under 18 in the U.S. can participate, everyone's submission will be judged with your circumstances and experience level. A project from someone who has never coded before has the potential to be more impressive than a project from a very experienced programmer--just let us know of your situation and what obstacles you had to overcome!
